they say, is always the hardest. after neglecting my blog(s) for quite a long while now, it's difficult to get back into the rhythm. so, here's a quick update:i'm currently working for an intercultural exchange foundation with an office at UP. meaning, i see avi much more often now and i finally get to hang out with the bayaws of monday club. it's been great, especially after i won my first two poker games.
i was very pleased to see inay, ma'am marj and ma'am sue at the ailap workshop last week. and of course, congratulations to the brilliant duo of wink and marge. akyat uli tayo ng baguio!
the traditional reading was still held at mag:net and it was soothing to listen to poetry at the end of a crappy day. nakakatuwa rin ang surprise number ni amang and the-guy-who's-name-i-keep-forgetting. larry finally gave me a copy of his ballet poem <3 and it was a nice surprise to have nico (vitug) drop by. afterwards, jazz performer mon david invited us to stay for his gig and his music was really smooth and cool. i imagine that must be how a good cigarette feels like.
(tangina, a neighbouring house is hosting a videoke party. they're drunk and all singing painfully off-key. somebody please give me a gun. or a really heavy boot to throw at them.)
i'm glad to be back on the katipunan circuit (well, more or less) but i intend to leave my ogre boss soon. i refuse to be the slave of a capitalist pig but i'm still testing my threshold for pain. and looking for a new job, hehe.
oh god, the problem with not blogging for such a long time is wanting to say it all and coming up with a crappy mess like this instead. next time, next time.
